Please see below photos of the project taking place this week. We are so excited to be a part of such a cool convergence. The group has put many hours into planning and prepping for this week. They have studied what is important to us as a school community and really taken a lot of time to develop a design that represents Escuela Viva. We participated in two design “meetings” where they presented their ideas, asked questions and we all brainstormed together collaboratively. Such a fun process! Thank you Todd (Albert’s dad) and Kalin and Kate (Elena S’s parents), for participating in the planning process!
They are potentially fabricating the mechanism that will be used to hang bicycles “long term” = all day parking.
Sorry for the side photo! This is a drawing of the garbage storage plan…
An amazing, to scale, model of the bike structure (notice they will be utilizing the infamous “ditch” space). To the left is the backside of a storage structure for the trash containers that live out there as well as some extra built in storage, too!
Below are all the students and instructions that are a part of the AC&D Build Team this year!
