The Preschool-Prekindergarten Classroom Ages 2 1/2-4

Following the philosophies of Reggio Emilia and Education for Life we work towards helping our children to be happy and confident philosophers. Knowing and feeling that they are loved and valued our children have the confidence to be themselves, learn and speak Spanish, express their opinions and feelings, build their own theories, and experiment.  As we work together with our parents, we utilize different techniques to meet the needs of each individual child.  Some of these techniques include listening to and learning from our children, conflict resolution, encouraging children to self-manage (take breaks), provocations, documentation through photography and in writing, and communication with parents.
